AMAC Live Stream at CPAC 2022 – AMAC

It’s the Super Bowl of conservative rallies. The annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) is sponsored by the American Conservative Union. This year’s four-day event was held at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, the second straight year for “The City Beautiful.” The title of the event was “Awake – Not Woke”.

The AMAC had a strong presence, including a dual media booth location just outside the entrance and exit of the General Ballroom in what is known as “Broadcast Row”. AMAC CEO Rebecca Weber and AMAC Action Senior Vice President Andy Mangione interviewed conservative commentators, sitting members of Congress, 2022 Congressional candidates and key influencers in the conservative movement. Many interviews were streamed live on the AMAC website and YouTube from Thursday through Saturday. Among the big names were Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA, Mercedes and Matt Schlapp, president of the American Conservative Union and organizer of CPAC.

Also in attendance were AMAC Co-Founder Judy Weber, Vice President of Advocacy Jennifer Bengtson, Jeff Szymanski of Political Communications, Terri Haverly of AMAC Action Advocacy, Head of Social Media and Marketing. Alyssa Lopresti, and CTO Dave Kane with his IT support team. Dave’s team hit a home run making sure everything went smoothly.

“This was my fourth CPAC, and it was quite a change from years past to see so many prominent conservatives come to us to thank AMAC for advocating on behalf of mature Americans and to share their thoughts on conservatism. today and what is happening with politics in Washington,” Szymanski noted. Mangione called the event a “huge success” and noted that “virtually no available podcast slots were filled. We interviewed guests virtually non-stop every day. Weber said of the involvement of AMAC: “Networking, making connections and having a strong presence are key, and we did all of that and more in Orlando.”

Only a few of the more than 125 speakers on the conference’s main stage included Ron DeSantis, Ted Cruz, Marsha Blackburn, Candace Owens, Jim Jordan, Kristi Noem and Byron Donalds. The event featured a Saturday night prime-time speech by former President Donald Trump.

Attendees agreed that The Rosen Group put on a top notch conference. AMAC will soon begin planning for CPAC 2023, wherever it is held after what attendees this year hope will be a successful “Road to the Majority” campaign season. Attendees often describe the event as an unforgettable experience that never disappoints. There is effectively no other place in America where one literally rubs shoulders with, and rubs shoulders with, the current players in the conservative movement, because they are all under one roof.
