Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association launches its own website

New Delhi: JKCA affiliated with the Board of Control for Cricket In India (BCCI) is responsible for the development and promotion of cricket in the union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. JKCA is the sole body mandated to select and field teams to represent J&K in various tournaments organized by BCCI in different formats for men and women. The website is interactive and has many useful features that would make it user-friendly. The website would contain all important information about the JKCA players, the various JKCA teams, the trial and selection schedule, recruitment notices as well as the annual accounts and balance sheets of the Association. He will also carry the call for tenders concerning JKCA. Any future announcements regarding the conduct of trials, selections, etc. will be posted on the website for a universal audience. At the website launch, Brig. Anil Gupta (retired), member of the administration, said: “Since the sub-committee took over the affairs of the JKCA, we have endeavored to bring transparency and accountability not only in the selection process, but also in the functioning of the JKCA. . The launch of the website is a step in this direction.

Mr. Sunil Sethi, Member of Legal Affairs, invited visitors to explore the new website and make suggestions to make it more user-friendly. It drew visitors’ attention to specific items such as tenders, jobs in which all JKCA requirements (above a specific limit) would be accommodated on the website as well as job offers. jobs as they arise. He further stated that from this year we will be launching the national season and the website will be a great help in communicating the details of the various tournaments and camps planned by the JKCA. JKCA hopes that with the launch of the website, the information gap between players and the Association will be minimized.
