PSECU Recognized by American Heart Association for Success in Occupational Health

American Heart Association 2021 results Occupational health success index were announced and PSECU has achieved national Gold level recognition for taking significant steps to create a culture of health and wellness for its workforce.

PSECU is one of more than 450 organizations nationwide that completed the index evaluation this year, evaluating the period July 31, 2020 to June 30, 2021.

PSECU, Pennsylvania’s largest credit union, has approximately 700 employees across Pennsylvania. Dedicated to helping its over 500,000 members do more, PSECU invests in employee health and wellness programs and incentives, understanding the impact that holistic approaches to wellness can have on employees. and efficiency in the workplace.

The American Heart Association, a global force for longer, healthier lives for all, created the Index with its CEO Roundtable, a leadership collaboration of more than 45 members from some of America’s largest companies. The Index is an online dashboard that assesses the overall quality and completeness of a company’s occupational health program through a combination of best practices and insight into the overall heart health of employees at a company.

According to CDC Studies, healthy employees are more productive and take less sick leave. Studies also indicate that organizations that create a culture of workplace health can improve employee retention and the organization’s reputation.
